Best Western Plus Ramkota Hotel

We got a suite, and it was beautiful and so fun. Very happy with the room. The kids loved the pool and swam a lot. I wish the pool would open earlier than 9am. The breakfast was pretty good. Scrambled eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes, few kinds of cereal, bread for toast, 2 kinds of mini muffins. They were out of OJ and the coffee didn’t taste good. Need some fruit, maybe they were out at 9 when we were there. (Served from 7 to 10.) My kids were disappointed that there weren’t pancakes or waffles to make themselves. The front end staff was okay. They forgot to give me our pool wristbands when I checked in so I had to go and track those down. And forgot to tell me that pool towels were at the front desk. I asked for a late check out, but was told I needed to talk to the front desk people the next day. When we came for breakfast, I stopped and asked if we could check out late (meaning noon instead of 11 o’clock). The woman barely looked at her computer and told me, quote, “no, we need the room”. No “sorry about that” or “thanks for staying with us, but we can’t do a late check out today”, just “no” after looking down at her computer for less than 5 seconds. I’ve stayed at this hotel before and had to deal with this woman before. She is not helpful or friendly. Other than her, we had a very pleasant time and good interactions with other staff members.

Room loction - poolside was great parking and room access was nice Breakfast was great pool was fun

Convenient -but quiet - proximity to I-90, clean, comfortable. Very nice stay.

The staff were friendly and were very accommodating when I called asking if we could get in early. Very informative about the facilities when checking in. The room was clean.

It was clean and well maintained. Easy access to my room. Friendly, kind efficient staff
